The thinnest Casio G-Shock ever? Watch unboxing and review - casio GA 2100 series

Hey guys welcome back today and I'm kind of excited it's actually my first casio g-shock if you can believe that I never had one and then recently they released Casio released what they're calling the Casio GA 2100 series

Original Casio G-Shock GA-2100-1A1 Men's Watch Black | Men's watches \ Color \ Other Colors Watch brands \ Casio G-shock \ Analog Digital \ Standard Men's watches \ Style \ Casual Men's and I thought you know what if I'm gonna do a Casio I really like the looks of that so I decided togive it a shot so without further ado let's jump in take a look so you can see obviously pretty standard shipping boxes this apparently was an international release I'm not exactly sure what  countries but I do know that this wasn't a US release so most of like yourtraditional US retailers aren't gonna have this watch but apparently this isthe thinnest casio g-shock combinationever made or ever produced it comes inat eleven point eight mil which forcasio g-shock is pretty darn thin so astandard looking casio box you got your little booklet tells you how to operate everything and we can get into some ofthose functions but yeah let's take a  lookall right so get in case they this is basically referred to as what they're calling their new newer carbon core guard as a steel case back the watch measure is like 45 mil by 48 mil and boom it's gonna be hard to see this guy because it's black all right oh it's upside down how about that see if this will help there we go sometimes less is more so I will say that I I've been wearing this for a couple days now and it's really fun obviously it's all black do I have to do this scoot up a little bit obviously the fully blacked out version and it's got what seems to be a little bit of this is just my assumption but you can see that kind of that blue tint on the mineral glass to try to help it but man is this watch kind of hard and not very legible it does have a light function which you'll see lights up that bottom right LED right there you can change the time to do it from one second to three I'm pretty sure that's probably staying irrelevant most - shots but what I liked about this one was it kind of has that hexagon case and youknow Allah whatever you want to say ap or some other famous watches out therebut I think it just works really well with this Casio this Casio g-shock again it's the 2100 see the tag there GA 2101 a1 they did a - 1a which I believe thehands and the indices were white or alike and then they did an Allred version I'm not exactly sure on that full model number but but yeah so it's got 200 meters water resistance it's the courts caliber 56 11 and it's got a three year battery life and it retails for like youcan see 100 bucks if you do some searching online you can find it it's kind of sold out kind of not some people have it some people don't so it might take you a couple you know different google searches to find the exact retailer that you may be looking for you know sometimes with the internationalreleases you start getting on websitesthat you're wondering you know is this legit is a sketchy what's going on here so just you know do your due diligence find it and then kind of google thatsite just to make sure that it's a good site but like I said I'm pretty sure youcan find it it's not super hard but I have seen a lot of websites the firstcouple I went to were sold out so you can see it's got the carbon core guard Japanese movement cased in Thailand it's got the model number 220 bar wasn't what they say which is 200 Mille and the other cool thing is it's got these quick release straps so you can see you canjust put a little tool in there what did I do with my tool you could just put alittle tool in here slide your spring bar over and it's that easy to get out your strap now obviously it's not set up to put a pastor or anything like that so this would just be in the instance where you're modifying and/or adjusting orwhatever it is that you're doing maybe putting on a new one because you broke your strap etc do this over the top of my camera so bear with me here there you go pretty easy to change out the strap so how does it wear it wears great awesome Meath well let me before I throw it on rest let me just talk abouta little more like I said you can see how it's kind of all black which makesthe legibility a little bit difficult I wish it's not that hard it's just like when you're out in the sunlight eventhough it has some kind of I don't know what what material they used they arecoat that mineral glass it still picks up a little bit of reflection and because it picks up reflection and it'sall black there is not a lot of definition it can be a little challenging to read but damn does it look cool see here so you got your day indicator here on the Left Sunday Monday Tuesday Wednesday Thursday Friday etc you've got another you got your running seconds down here on the bottom right and then your day your month and datehere like I said you've got this lightbutton which lights up a little LED inthe bottom right you've got your mode which jumps to stopwatch timer alarmtime and then time zone so you can select whatever time zone you want toselect it's think it's got like it's probably standard for like I said I'm not a Jew shot guy so I don't have Idon't not use to them but I'm sure that you know this movement is fairly commonin these you can select your your time zone and you go from there but like Isaid the big the big selling point for this guy is kind of the new hexagonalcase design and that it's quite a bit thinner and lighter and smaller than Ithink of most other tree shocks me like I said it's it's forty five by fortyeight by eleven point eight so eleven point eight for a g-shock that's pretty thinand it weighs 51 grams which when you put this thing on wrist man as it justit just is gone I'm assuming that overtime sorry I'm putting this watch onI'm assuming that over time this the straps gonna break in a little bit it'sa little stiff at first and just trying to get it you know perfectly how I wantit it's got a little rigidity to it but I feel like like you know little get past the break-in period you know it's gonna be it's gonna be really nice soyou can see there fits great I have close to a seven half-inch wrist and Istill have three four or five different links that can go out so it'll fit a bigwrist but being that it's you know it's a g-shock it's obviously a bigger watchat 45 but this thing weighs nothing so it feels great it's got a little bit ofcurvature to the to the end of the case where the strap meets it and it just feels great on wrist what else outside of the looks and the size obviously youknow material and stuff it's pretty standard g-shock but does not look [ __ ] bad-ass no I think it looks pretty cool so I don't know guys this short riview just wanted to give a quick update on this guy really liking it let me know if they have any questions feel free to reply with any questions comments concerns you have if you like the watch if you don't like I said it's my first g-shock I'm excited excited about it I don't wearthis though watch too often but I have been wanting to wear I've been old Ithink it's called a pathfinder it's an old watch that I got at the Pieta one ofthe military bases when I was in high school and I use that as my kind of beat around if I'm gonna go hiking or sometimes I wear snowboarding etc sothis'll probably replace that but yeah guys check it out like I said it's casio GA 2100 and

yeah review let me know thanks
as later
